~ Immortal ~

In ancient Chinese history, there was once a great emperor, named Zhao Zheng, or rather known as Shih Huang-Ti, Emperor Qin. This emperor was the first Shih/Qin dynasty emperor. He was also the first to conquered and united China. Other than that, after his achievement of uniting the country, he created the Imperial Seal using He Shi Bi, the well-known jade. On this seal, words of "Having received the Mandate from Heaven, may lead a long and prosperous life." was craved onto the it. Besides, in his later life, Emperor Qin believes in longevity. He believes in 'Elixir of Life'. However, until his death, he could not prove the truth of it.

If given the chance of living forever, would you choose the path?

In the positive point of view, immortality means living forever. It means you have the time to do whatever you wish for. There is no time limit for anything. You will be having the chance of watching the change of the world, civilization, culture, knowledge, and many more. You will also have the chance of eternal youth and beauty.

However, You will be suffering the death of your close ones. Family. Friends. Your beloved. Even if you were given the chance to bring them, would they want to suffer in that way?

Let's say if you survived the first few hundreds years, how about the rest? You still need to face the same thing for the next hundreds, thousands, millions years, until somehow you are destroyed from this life.

Immortality does not mean everything good. In fabled tales, ancient Chinese Gods are known to be cold and heartless. There were sayings that one must abandoned their feelings, their cares, their possessions, in order to become one of the higher beings. Thus, if a person is given the chance of immortality, after a period of time, the person would not have a care to the normal people. Then what is the use of living forever, if you would be bored of it anyway in the end?

~ Perfection~

For some people, Barbie is considered as perfect. She has the typical American girl look. Beautiful blonde hair, charming smile, bright blue eyes, and an amazing body figure. In reality, there are also people that modifies their own body into these plastic figures of perfection.Nevertheless, the most successful real life Barbie is the one from Russia.

However, is "perfect" achievable?

Everyone have their own point of view.

From teacher to student, "perfect" student must be quiet, hardworking, bright, studious, understandable, creative, follow by the rules, right on time...
From parents to children, "perfect" child are the one with obedience, studious, hardworking, caring, honest, filial, beautiful, charming, respectful...
From children to parents, "perfect" parents most likely to be rich, intelligent, understanding, caring, carefree, fun, spontaneous...

Those are not likely to be possible. Maybe to some, but not to all.

There is no "perfect". We can have "almost perfect", but never "perfect". God, Mother Nature, Jade Emperor, or whoever is up there, created all living beings with flaw. If something, or someone was created with perfection, then the thing or the person should not be in existence. This is because if it is already "perfect", should not it be somewhere ruling over the non-perfects? All of us have our own flaw, this is to allow us to improve ourselves.

If we do not need to improve, then the world will not change. Since the Earth was made, everything is evolving. Plants, animals, insects, even the Earth (just not sure it is to the good end or the bad). They are changing from small to big, big to small, pea brains to highly sophisticated intelligent beings. These all shows that we are still not "perfect" yet, if we still need to change.

However, when the day arrives, when all of us became "perfect", I myself hope that I would not see that day. Because, when that day comes, we all will be replication of each other. Clones. Not one of us is different. Not one of us is unique. Not one of us can represent ourselves.

~Wishes~

The older generation alway tells us to think before we do. Beware for what you wish for. Plan it through before go on with it. There are many mythical ways to do a wish. Monkey Paws, Rabbit's Foot, Candles on a Birthday cake, and so on... But do they really come true?

Now, IF you have Three chances or Three wishes, what would you wish for?

Most commonly ones are~
~ Money (Millionaires, billionaires, zillionaires... with many zeros in the bank account)
~ Beauty (Most pretty, handsome, elegant, charming...)
~ Fame (I'm sorry, but there is a paparazzi in the bushes, one behind the walls, another at the window...)
~ Talent (Musician with degrees of science, maths, language... Such big brains you have...)
~ Time (Yes, we want to live for a long long time so that we can see everyone else died...)
~ A chance to redo (Rewind and do again. Those high-tech remotes that lets you to do anything.)
~ A perfect partner (Ma'am, the computer you wished for have arrived.)
~ Another three/four/five/unlimited wishes

Next. WHY? Why did you choose for that? Let's see.
The first one, you don't have it so you want more. Greed.
Second, other people is more pretty than you, so you want to be more. Envy.
Third, you have the beauty/charm/whatever, so you want to sell yourself at a higher price. Vanity.
Fourth. Fifth. And so on, so on...

For each and every one of them, the causes for people to do the wishes are quite on the negative side. However, these kind of wishes are more focusing on the people that have a smooth life. They might not be successful, but they are still having a life that are better than some people across the world. They wished for all those things are due to the fact that there are still people out there that have a better life than they. This reveals the GREED in human nature. They are not satisfied at all.

Nevertheless, if the wishes are given to a desperate person, for example, a person that have a family member that is seriously injured or sick. Or they are in economic crisis. Or it is a life or death situation they are in. For them, it is another chance for living. A chance for them to save their own or other people's life.

Everything have two side, both of the Good and Bad. We cannot just focus onto one. Yes, humans are greedy, but if we do not have the nature to try and gain for what we want, the world would not improve, even ourselves would not improve, in knowledge or resources wise. Thus, it is not a bad thing to wish, hope or pray, just don't take it too extremely.

~Reproduction~

Let's pretend we are on a different world. A parallel world. You awoke in a different world. It's modern, not much of a change from what we have in our world. And then, you found out there is one thing that is majorly different. You found out that....

MAN IN THIS WORLD CAN BE PREGNANT.

Actually that is the topic for this post. Let's pretend that when God created Adam, He gave Adam the ability to give birth. Then, God would not created Eve, but Evan, which means women does not or do not need to be exist. However, that is too far back and we "deleted" women. So, if women exists and man have the ability to carry the child... (and women still have the reproductive system)

Pro~
~Men would understand women more, due to the hormones that will create chaotic emotion swings.
~Gender equality will be achieved. (yay to the people who are trying for this for years, decades, centuries...)
~Men will have the same amount of holidays as women.
~Men no longer need to care about their ego, and they can blame the emotional break downs on hormones.
~Discrimination of LGBT would be non-existent. (Totally yes on the gay part, not sure with the others...)
~Men will be more caring, less aggressive.

BUT~
~Women might be oppressed to a position that are even lower, since centuries, millenniums ago, they are considered as tools for the next generation.
~Men will do more irrational choices, like how they blame women now.
~Women might extinct. Maybe someone in the history decides that women are useless and that person have the ability to exterminate women...
~The world might not be so advanced. Men might care more for family, rather than anything else.

There are more things to consider, to think, if man really can be pregnant. But, God created Eve is not for reproduction, but for fulfilling Adam's half. Man need women for emotional support, and women need men for protection...(Just joking.)
Man are more towards the logical mind, while women, to the emotional part.
Man are stronger in physical. Women are stronger in emotional.
They are the opposite of each other. Therefore, we need both side to make a whole. If man can be pregnant, they would have the weaker side, then women will not be needed. Thus, let's hope that man still need us woman in the future if there is apocalypse or species-changing event happens...

~ Siblings ~

There are five children in my family. Four girls and a boy. I am the second among them. To me, they are "Da Jie", older sister, "Da Mei", first younger sister, "Ah Di", younger brother, and "Xiao Mei", little sister.

Since young, the children in my family don't really socialize with outsiders, including relatives. We can be considered as very reclusive people comparing with other people of our generation. This is due to the fact that my family's rules are quite strict. Until now, my siblings and I do not go out for the sake of fun with friends after dinner time. We do not visit our relatives until it is necessary, like for the festivals. Even then, we are supposed to sit in the corner, don't play around with the cousins, and wait for the time to leave, because my dad don't like to socialize with them. However, this is only for my mom's side of family, because dad's side is more or less non-existing for the past few years. As for non-existing, it does not mean that they had died or anything, it meant that we don't contact them and they don't contact us.

Now, moving on to my siblings. My older sister is a great student, in my opinion. She is currently working in Singapore, after her recent graduation from her four-year double degree course of Business and Accountancy in NTU. Before that, she was a STPM student which had passed with flying colors of 5 straight As in account stream. In her secondary and primary schools, she was one of those students that would have full As in her report as well as being one of the prefect in schools. My sister is a dedicated person. She is talented, well-mannered, ambitious and independent girl. She is also a obedient daughter to my parents, and to us, the younger ones, a strict sister. As pretty as it sounds, the relationship among us, the children, are not as strong as it seems. In my family, we don't really communicate with each other. For example, I could tell more things about my emotional problems to my friends, but not to my family members. This is all due to my family do not have that habit of talking with each other. Thus, until now, I don't know what is the name of the company that she is working at. (But that could be found out with a click on her Facebook page...)

Next, my "Da Mei". She is younger than me by two years. She have graduated from Form Six with a STPM results of 3.5 something. Originally, my mom was hoping for her to study in Singapore. Nevertheless, even with that high marks, she was not accepted. So, currently, she is waiting for the interview for her degree course, which is Law, by the way. By appearance, this sister of mine is very tomboyish. Her personality comparing with mine, are almost the total opposite. Just by the food we preferred, she prefers to have hot and spicy while I only could take them on the minimal scale. I could be considered as a seafood lover, while she hates everything that are living in the water. I am mild-tempered and more considerate in a conflict, but she would be judge harshly when is crossed by others. However, it seems that even with her hot temper, she is a I-don't-care-what-you-are-thinking-and-doing-as-long-as-you-are-not-bothering-me person, and have a few life long friends.

In Chinese culture, most people would think boys are better than girls, because they are the ones that will be earning money and passing down family tradition, while girls are equal to losing money due to dowry and things. For my family, this concept is almost to non-existence, but still, there is the word "almost". My brother is the only son. When he was born, there was quite an age gap between us. I was already 8 years old by that time, and my sisters are 11 years old and 6 years old respectively. As my brother was growing up, it was the era of technology. People were having computers at home, internet was starting to be the "It" thing, and gameboy got popular. My brother is not a person that appreciate things since young. He is a child that always threw his temper very easily. One of the most memorable of his bad temper was, when he was around the age of 6 or 7, he throws the gameboy, which wasn't really belongs to him, to the ground, just because we doesn't want him to continue playing. That kind of behavior still exist now, just the way of expressing is different. Instead of throwing things, he would sulk and started to dig for secret or the wrong things we done. For example, if we stops him from continuing using the computer, he would start to backstab us or tries to question why he wasn't allow to use while other people could. Then, later on, he would tries to use the computer sneakily, like during everyone are sleeping. Ugh, brothers.

My little sister is very cute, but annoying. She is very aggressive when is being bothered by others. She would hit you if you are teasing her. In school, she is a blur case. The amount for her to lost her stationary, especially eraser, in Standard One, is similar to the amount of I would used from primary to secondary school. More than often, she would misplace her belongings in her school. Eventhough, she is quite rough with her playing around, she provided my family with a lot of laughter. Just days ago, my family went out for dinner, mom was asking who wants to eat what, and little sis said she wanted spaghetti. So, when we arrived at the place, there was a few times that we repeated what we wanted to eat. This is where the funny part came in. After we are being seated, the waitress asked for our drinks, my little sister wasn't paying attention at all. Thus, when mom asks her what did she want to drink, she shouted spaghetti. All of us laughed. This is my little sister.

My family is not the best in the world, and it is not the worst. It is just right for me. Even with the goods and bad, ups and downs, I really hope that we would still stick together for a long long time.
