~ Time Travel ~

Since ages ago, time travelling has been a hot topic for many movies, novels and even cartoons or comics. Why? It is because people wants to have the second chance to redo. For example, in Harry Potter, Harry travel back in time to save his godfather, Sirius, or in Mr. Peabody and Sherman, they travel through time to learn history, then uses the time machine to fix things back.

I believe that, if given chance, everyone of us would want to return to the past to make the right choice.

But, we are humans. By doing the wrong choice is what make us humans.

It is not saying that we must do the wrong thing. However, by taking the wrong path, it makes us vulnerable. It makes us learn and change. Each and one of us is not perfect, and that is what make humans to have humanity. It is what make human to improve.

Thomas Edison did over hundreds of experiments in order to find how to create a lightbulb. If he got the formula at the start, people would not know what other materials are not usable for conducting electricity. And he did not regret the numerous experiments.

If a person had his life sailing smoothly since the start, would he had the chance to regret? Or become better? If the person did something wrong and have the opportunity to change it, would he be the same as before or the changed one after?

For example, a rich person drinks while driving. It cause him to have an accident which him to stay in hospital for weeks. He found out that his family cares about him, but not his girlfriend. It made him to be more responsible to himself and his family. However, if he went back in time and stops himself from having the accident, would the past him still finds out the truth about his partner and family? Would he learn to be more responsible?

Therefore, I don't believe in changing the past would make you a better person, because how would you learn without mistakes?
